ABC Trust Community Grants help address the needs of low-income families

ABC Trust Community Grants provide funding of up to $500 annually to support nonprofits and faith-based organizations serving low-income communities across Alabama. These grants are designed to strengthen programs that address critical health, human services, and energy assistance needs.

This grant supports:

  • Nonprofits and faith-based organizations serving low-income individuals and families
  • Programs providing energy assistance to households at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines
  • Community initiatives focused on improving access to essential services

Important eligibility notes:

  • Community Action Agencies are not eligible for this grant program
  • The ABC Trust touches Alabamians across 60 counties in central and south Alabama. Colbert, DeKalb, Jackson, Lauderdale, Limestone, Madison and Morgan counties are outside the Trust’s coverage area.

Applications are reviewed monthly by the ABC Trust Community Grant Committee, allowing organizations to apply throughout the year as needs arise.
