Dorothy Crosby Legacy Award: Supporting Exemplary Nonprofits
The annual Dorothy Crosby Legacy Award, established in 2022, provides up to $10,000 to a nonprofit organization or community action agency doing exemplary work serving clients in the areas of elderly care, energy assistance, education or health and human services.
Dorothy Crosby Legacy Award
This grant program was established in honor of Dorothy Crosby, longtime chair of the ABC Trust board of directors. She spent much of her life helping others as the energy services coordinator at a community action agency supporting families in need in Jefferson County. Crosby passed away in 2021.
Grant application cycle opens October 3, 2025, and closes October 21, 2025.
