Efficiency Forward Grants provide funding to help nonprofits and community-based organizations improve the energy efficiency of their facilities, reducing operational costs and supporting long-term sustainability. Designed for organizations serving communities within Alabama Power’s service area, this grant supports projects to make buildings more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective to operate. Funding can be used for upgrades such as energy-efficient HVAC systems, lighting improvements, insulation, and other facility enhancements which lower energy usage and free up resources to invest in programs and services to benefit the community.
